Overview

The project was part of the mandate to harness the power of digital technologies to empower citizens and ensure proper disbursal of food and civil supplies to the masses. The project aimed to tap into the benefits provided by AADHAAR - India's national biometric identity program and modern connected IoT products such as Smart PoS, connected weighing scales and biometric scanners.

Data on citizen/ family relocation and non-availability at the regional distribution center available within the month. Daily availability of near real-time information from PoS for data-driven decision making.
